The Overlook RRG - Wow. This is one of those locations that makes me want to share with everyone. The location is secluded. The space is clean and looks exactly like the photographs. The bed, amenities, hot tub, and shower are all top quality. The only point to perhaps convey is the drive to and from Red River Gorge was about 28 minutes each way. However, this proved ideal for us as it offered a quiet space after a day of hiking. The family dog, Ali, also enjoyed the scenic walks and serene atmosphere. I locked my keys in the car, which pushed us over checkout time. The hosts were responsive and kind as we awaited a local locksmith. This space is perfect for an individual, for a couple, or a group of couples, events, and even those that work remotely but like to adventure outside of work hours. This is an amazing and relaxing location .. and while I wish to tell everyone, I also don't want to share with anyone so that the next time I am able to reserve there is availability.

This was a beautiful, peaceful stay for me. The directions to the site were simple and easy to find. I had a little bit of hiccup checking but the host was super responsive. It was exactly like the photos. Incredibly relaxing and beautiful scenery with the sun setting right over the ridge. Friendly reminder: there’s no bathroom door. So whatever your business is, it’s not done in private 😂 Two tips from me: first, there’s a dehumidifier there and it needs to be emptied every day. Beware pulling the front panel open, as the water can splash out. And secondly, I wish I had driven an SUV there but I brought my car which sits very low to the ground. Now, I made it in and out ok, but I had perfect weather. If you’re in a car, when you’re leaving the property, stay on the right when you go up the hill. The gravel is loose and there’s a big ridge that may cause a car to bottom out if you are t careful. All in all, I loved this place and will definitely be back. The host was incredible!

Love this place! The Overlook Dome was the perfect 13th anniversary getaway—cozy, spotless, and beautifully designed with breathtaking views of the Red River Gorge. We loved the private deck for morning coffee, golden sunsets, and stargazing. Peaceful, romantic, and unforgettable!

Our stay at this gorgeous Kentucky dome was the perfect birthday getaway! The host was incredibly kind, proactive, and quick to answer every question, which made everything so easy. The photos were completely accurate, yet the mountain views in person were even more magical—especially with the morning mist and evening sunsets. The dome was cozy and comfortable for the two of us, with thoughtful touches that made it feel so special. We loved watching the sunset on the deck, stargazing at night, and just soaking in the peace and quiet. A truly unforgettable stay!
