It was a welcome surprise, the interior the dome was awesome, and the view was spectacular!! The property is a little remote from restaurants, etc. but if you plan on hiking the red river Gorge, it’s a perfect location or just want some quiet time

4.5 stars if that was an option. Structure/house was quirky in good ways and, in one instance, confusing.
The hosts were very responsive via email.
The grounds: A+. The "peninsula" gives amazing westward views, especially of the sunset.
The only reason it isn't perfect: the lock on the door. We were never able to lock it from the outside without using the (back-up) keys. The box the key was in was slightly difficult to open. A minor hiccup but nonetheless worthy of bringing up.
Overall: 100% we'd do this rental again.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. From the moment we pulled up and saw the view, to opening the door to the nicest furnishings/set-up, we were beyond excited. We loved everything about it. This is the definition of luxury ‘glamping’ and the hosts were very attentive and nice. It was the perfect getaway for my teen daughter and I!

Beautiful view, very quiet, very clean. Bed could have been a little softer. I didn't mind it, but it was a little hard for my husband (he has had multiple back surgeries)

Beautiful dome with a spectacular view! Everything went smoothly, and all the necessities were there for us. We arrived in a snow storm, and the owner was very gracious with my panic. Great place to stay!

The Overlook is a wonderful quiet getaway with a wonderful view! The kitchenette was perfect for simple meals, providing two burners and an air fryer. The small details throughout the dome and the property made for a perfect stay!

We had a great stay at the Cloud Chaser dome! Despite a cold and very windy night, we were warm and cozy! Everything was exactly as described. It was spotless and everything was in working order. There was an issue with our door code upon check in, but the host had responded and the issue was resolved within minutes. I loved the continuous communication from our host leading up to our stay. I would recommend AWD or 4WD to access the dome, but again, that was mentioned prior to booking. We will definitely stay again, and hopefully longer if we’re in the area! Thanks for a great little getaway!!!!

What a cute spot with a crazy view of the RRG! The hosts/team were quick to respond and helpful when issues arose.
During our stay over Thanksgiving weekend, it got below freezing so the heaters(both the mini splits and provided space heaters) were struggling to keep up. I believe this cabin is best suited for above-freezing weather and probably a dream in the fall/spring to have the windows open. The location of the cabin is about 15 minutes from Stanton, on top of the ridge, and so quiet! There were other people staying in the igloos, but it still felt private.
The chilling area on the second floor was perfect for two people, and probably just fine for four. I enjoyed the simplicity of the clean aesthetic - not overly decorated and good quality wares. The mattresses are a very(!!) firm memory foam but the bedding is so cozy it kind of made up for it.
We would definitely come back to this location in the fall!
